Ink and wash
The tram is the problem. Draw it accurately and the street stops working; leave it out and the drawing is about nothing. I made eleven attempts over four days and the eleventh is the one in the set, with the tram put in last, in about forty seconds.
The rest of the series is quieter and I like it more, which is usually how this goes.
